District 13 Fall 2016 Conference Update

The District 13 Fall 2016 Conference was held the weekend of November 4-6, 2016. Sue Mals and Jeff Blattner from our Monroeville Club attended. The conferences are opportunities to network and learn from others who are on the same communication and leadership journeys.

Club Member Goals for 2016-2017

Club members were recently surveyed for their 2016-2017 goals. The charts below summarize their responses. It looks like a lot of growth is planned. Keep working toward those goals!

Outdoor Meeting Held August 2nd

We had the privilege of holding an outdoor meeting on August 2nd. The library has some beautiful grounds on which they allowed our club to meet, and the weather was warm and clear.

District 13 Spring Conference, 2016

The District 13 spring conference was held April 23, 2016. Below is a photo of the "parade of banners" which celebrates each of the clubs in the district. 

Triple Crowns Awarded!

Toastmaster members work hard to complete projects in various Toastmaster manuals such as Competent Communicator and Competent Leader.  When a member can complete three projects within a given year it’s referred to as a Triple Crown. Monroeville Toastmasters Sue Mals and Kim Turner did just that in the 2015-2016 year. Fifteen District members were recognized at the District 13 Spring Conference on April 29, 2016. Imagine the effort to complete three manuals within a single year!   Great work Sue and Kim!
